Principles
As a conservative, I believe…
- The Constitution is the foundation and framework of our government. It is both an inspired and an inspiring document.
- The traditional family is the fundamental unit of society. I continue to support family-oriented legislation.
- Unborn children deserve our protection.
- Senior citizens deserve our respect and care.
- Immigrants are welcome here. Legally, please.
- Personal initiative is better than government programs.
- Taxpayers are not a bottomless money pit.
- Government should provide only those services that cannot be provided by individuals or private organizations.
- Free enterprise is a far more effective tool than legislated quotas.
- We need less government. The government that governs least, governs best.
- We must ensure a high-quality, traditional education for our children.
